Giving to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church can take many forms. We volunteer our time and talents in numerous ways. We help each other in time of need, just as any family would do for each other. We take care of our church, our church family, and the families in our community who need help and support. When you think about all we do cumulatively, we spend an immeasurable amount of time in service. Each of us has a special talent and we use those talents in remarkable ways. We sing in the choir, we work as a team to keep the grounds clean and neat, we provide school supplies and bring food to make certain the food pantry is well stocked, we organize Vacation Bible School, and the list goes on.
As a congregation, Bethlehem has been doing this very important work for over 175 years. We are a constant in our community. Each of us carries a little bit of Bethlehem with us wherever we go, and we want the generations who follow us to feel that Bethlehem is there for them, their families, and our community.
In order to maintain that generational energy, we must look to the future and consider how we can invest our resources to make certain Bethlehem remains strong and vital. As you know, your weekly general offerings are critical, and they continue to ensure that our church stays focused on our current mission.
For the future though, there are some ways you might want to think about that will provide for the longer-term mission of our church.
It is important to note that through your Legacy giving, you can make a significant gift to the church without diminishing your family’s current income or affecting your current lifestyle.
